LANBENA Vitamin C Foot Peel Mask – Gentle Exfoliation & Brightening for Smooth, Soft Feet

I really love these foot masks. They are pretty comfortable, considering the slimy feel of the active ingredients inside. They have a nice, pleasant citrusy smell. They are a thicker plastic with an adhesive strip that holds it in place. Its thick texture allows me to walk around with these on since I have to wear them for about an hour. The full exfoliation process takes about 3-7 days. These contain vitamin C, niacinamide, chamomile, hyaluronic acid and other beneficial ingredients that help to exfoliate calluses, moisturize and remove dead surface cells. I get these issues on my heels especially so I recently started using foot masks. I have used other Lanbena products in the past and they always work really well and are great quality for a reasonable price. I will definitely purchase these again, I really want to try the other scents that they offer.

Please don’t judge me I had my baby a few months ago and haven’t had time to take care of my feet at all. As you can see in the picture it looked like I had just played soccer on a gravel road…..barefoot, so crusty! Yuck! So I ordered the foot peel and I loved that I could just put them on my feet for an hour AND continue to go about my business as the peel worked its magic on my crusty feet. The foot peel includes tape to secure the product around your ankles so that you aren’t tied down for an hour because ain’t nobody got time for that! In the second picture you can see the peel working its magic as it sloughed off the dead skin from my feet 2 days later. Between 3-4 days after the peel my feet were soooo soft and looked just like my newborn’s beautiful little feet. I can’t recommend this product enough! It was a real treat for me and smelled great too! 5/5 definitely recommend!!

I chose to try the Vitamin C foot peel masks, and while I do enjoy occasionally using these basic foot peel masks as a part of self-care, I am reminded that the benefit isn't long lasting. The Vitamin C foot peel mask promises to brighten dull skin and improve hydration. In the moment, they're effective, but unlike creams and foot balms, the benefit is short-lived. They do add to the experience of a pedicure, so I will always choose to use them with that expectation. The tape to secure these masks is always the downside. They're not very adhesive so if walking a few steps is necessary, the tape will detach. After using the Vitamin C foot mask, the skin on my feet did start to peel a few days later. Not all of the areas where I had calluses peeled away, so I still had to use a pumice to rid the other dry skin areas. I do follow up these peel treatments using heavy foot balms daily for a longer lasting benefit of using the foot peel masks.

This is a really good mask for your feet. I waited to use it as I had recently cut my toe, and there should be no open wounds when using the product. It's really easy to use. Just cut it apart, put your feet in and tighten the adhesive tape around the ankles. You can leave it on from 60-90 minutes, depending on the amount of exfoliation needed. I took it off after about 75 minutes. It does feel weird on your feet, but it's not too hard to handle. After removing the mask, I washed my feet with warm water as instructed. It's suggested to not use any moisturizer on your feet until the entire process is complete (after 7 days). At first, I didn't notice anything, but after a day or two my feet started to peel. The peeling continued and got even more extreme as the days passed. It's now Day 8 and the process is complete. The bottoms of my feet have entirely peeled. Imagine a bad sunburn on your back as an example. It's definitely helped my feel. This was the first time I ever tried anything like this. It's great to help smooth your feet. Give it a try.

I've tried multiple different peeling foot masks from different brands and this one was just as effective as some of the brands I'm more familiar with. My feet started peeling in about 4 days and def felt softer and smoother. You have to cut the tops of the booties, which isn't my favorite but does mean it is less messy when you remove it from the packaging. You secure them with adhesive strips around the ankles. They weren't the strongest I've tried, but I'd put them a bit above average, and the scent wasn't overwhelming which I appreciate.
